Event Horizon

Not in places or the placeless

not in shadows of particle waves

but in the atoms between us,

where your smiles warp time.

The collapsed star glowing loud

pulling me into the event horizon

not to destroy, but to slow the world,

to fold our minutes into a single field.

All forces succumbed to your pull

the gravity of one woman,

your breath curving the cosmos,

your touch anchoring the infinite.

No gaze beyond the horizon,

no futures brighter than now,

only the stillness of finding

the universe in you, now.
