Moments of Joy

There is a time where

the moment arrives

time swells around us

You turn slightly

a vacuum emerges

as if something unseen

has increased its weight

Your eyes meet mine

the world around us dulls

the space between us sharpens

Every path collapses here

All my attention narrows on you

Your presence slows the time

that lives in my mind

I feel its shape before meaning

Time deepens.

Each second opens

holding more than it should

My breath finds rhythm

with yours to form one—

like frequencies in waves

on the same channel

Warped around the dark

in love under this spell

a place of the placeless

inside this moment of joy
